Ryton Pools Miniature Railway is owned and operated by Coventry Model Engineering Society and is located at Ryton Pools Country Park near Bubbenhall in Warwickshire, England.

The Railway is open Sunday afternoons from 13.00 to 16.00 (weather permitting) from the first Sunday in April (or Easter if it’s in March) through until the end of September. We're also open on Bank Holidays and New Years day. We also open for special events throughout the year. For more information see our timetable.

If you'd like to ride on the railway, trains leave every 5 minutes from the station. Just turn up, buy a ticket and enjoy the ride. Everyone's welcome, under 3's must be accompanied by an adult but ride free.

Locos

Passenger trains are usually hauled by electric, steam or even petrol powered locomotives, a lot depends on how busy the railway is and the weather. Please keep an eye on the web site for any special events and our timetable.

Charity Run at Ryton Pools Miniature Railway

On Saturday 12th July the Railway will be open from 10:00 till 4:00, Instead of selling Tickets were asking for a donation to the RNLI , make a donation, put some money in the bucket , and have a ride on the railway.

ALL monies raised will go to this amazing group of volunteers.

The railway will be opening on April 6th 2025 (weather permitting) from 13:00 to 16:00.

Please note that due to increased running costs and for the first time since 2008 we've increased the ticket price to £1.50 per ride (under 3 with a paying adult are still free).

If you would like to help run Ryton Pools Miniature Railway you can join the Coventry Model Engineering Society

You don't have to be an engineer or even into engineering and you don't need previous knowledge or experience. You'll be shown how to do everything you need to help run the railway. The jobs are varied and appropriate for all ages, skills and abilities. You're never too young or too old to help run a railway.
